Welcome Dr. Jordan Harris
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Utah Valley Dermatology is pleased to announce the addition of a new physician and servicing location to our practice! Dr. Harris is a General Dermatologist who enjoys every facet of dermatology from pediatrics to complicated cutaneous skin cancers. He performs in-office Mohs micrographic surgery for the removal of skin cancers, as well as excision and removal of benign tumors and cysts. Dr. Harris has a vision to offer caring, comfortable, and comprehensive dermatologic care, with genuine goals to treat each and every patient as family. He is known for his gentle care with children and the ability to make the anxiety of a dermatology visit more relaxing and pleasant. Dr. Harris is also a father to young children, and uses his experience as a father to offer love and a kind approach to his pediatric patients.
Dr. Harris is from Boise, Idaho but spent much of his childhood in Blaine, Washington. During this time Dr. Harris developed a great love for the ocean, the great outdoors, and fishing. He went to Boise State University, where he studied biology with a human biology emphasis and worked as a laboratory assistant studying Alzheimer’s diseases. During this time, he also worked full time as direct care staff at a therapeutic boy’s ranch, and volunteered for a local hospital with cancer patients. These moments of service were fundamental strength building experiences that spurred the desire to become a physician.
Dr. Harris competed medical school from Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Washington State, graduating among the select top of his class. He completed his residency at Western University with the Aspen Dermatology Residency Program in Utah County. It is here that he developed a love for Utah and chose to raise his family and join Utah Valley Dermatology.
Dr. Harris married the love of his life, Jessica, and they have five beautiful children together. His family is the pinnacle of his life, and his love for his patients is a close second! The passion and love for his family is extended to how he interacts with his patients and the kind and gentle approach he gives to each and every one.
We are excited to add Dr. Jordan Harris to our practice and look forward to scheduling appointments at both of our locations in Lehi and Saratoga Springs!!
