Dr. David Myers
Dr. David Myers is a board certified Dermatologist who was raised in Utah County and is a graduate of Brigham Young University. He attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin, followed by an internship at Waukesha Family Medicine. His dermatology residency was completed at the Marshfield Clinic in Wisconsin and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he was the chief resident during his last year. Dr. Myers received additional training in skin cancer treatment during his residency in Madison, Wisconsin where Mohs was started. He is a fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Myers’ treats all aspects of dermatology; including adult and pediatric general dermatology, cosmetic, dermatopathologic and surgical dermatology. He has performed over 2000 Mohs procedures.
In 2012, he started Utah Valley Dermatology in Lehi, Utah which has grown to include five full time practitioners. He also started the Utah Valley Medical Spa which provides cosmetic treatments and skincare products. From 2015 to 2018, Dr. Myers was the only physician injector trainer in Utah for Allergan cosmetics (eg Botox and Juvederm fillers). Utah Valley Dermatology has been voted the 'Best of Utah Valley Magazine' Dermatology practice seven years in a row by its readers.
Additionally, Dr. Myers was a dermatology lecturer and preceptor for the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center Family Medicine program from 2011- 2014 and was the Dermatologist for Brigham Young University Student Health Center from 2011-2015. He was also a panelist at the 2019 Modernizing Medicine electronic medical record users annual conference discussing "Tips & Techniques to Enhance Your Clinical Documentation in EMA Dermatology".
Dr. Myers is also Dr. Derm on multiple social platforms. He demonstrates dermatological procedures to his 90,000 YouTube subscribers weekly.
Outside of the office, he loves spending time with his wife and four children traveling, fly-fishing, and biking.
Dr. Jordan Harris
Dr. Jordan Harris was born in Boise, Idaho and raised throughout the Pacific Northwest. Dr. Harris graduated with Honors from Boise State University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. He received his medical degree at Pacific Northwest University of Health Science in Washington State, graduating among the top of his class, and was elected to the Sigma Sigma Phi honor society. Following medical school Dr. Harris completed his Internship through Michigan State University at the Oakwood Southshore Hospital. He then went on to complete his residency training in Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery through Western University and Aspen Dermatology Residency Program based in Utah Valley, where he served as the chief resident during his last year.
Dr. Harris enjoys every facet of dermatology, from pediatrics to complicated skin disease. His areas of expertise and professional interests include the prevention, detection, and surgical removal of skin cancer, contact dermatitis, alopecia, cosmetic enhancements as well as laser treatments and is known for providing excellent care to both adult and pediatric patients. His three-year dermatology residency included extensive training in Mohs Surgery which is a specialized, highly effective technique for the removal of skin cancer.
Dr. Harris is committed to compassionate health care, devoting time to talking to patients, and ensuring they receive advanced dermatologic care. He is BE-by the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology. His professional memberships include the American Academy of Dermatology, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, and American Osteopathic Association.
Dr. Kevin Myers
Dr. Kevin Myers is a board certified Dermatologist and joined Utah Valley Dermatology in 2020. He is excited to be back in Utah working along side his older brother Dr. David Myers.
A Provo native, he graduated from Brigham Young University before earning his medical degree from North Texas University in Fort Worth, TX. He went on to complete his internship and residency training in dermatology at Good Samaritan Health Services in Corvallis and Salem, Oregon. During his time there, he served as Chief Resident. After completing residency, Dr. Myers furthered his education with advanced training in Mohs micrographic surgery, and continues to travel performing procedures in several states.
Dr. Myers enjoys all aspects of general, pediatric, and surgical dermatology. He enjoys seeing patients every day, getting to know them, and helping them through difficult issues with their skin.
Dr. Myers aka The Derminator can be found demonstrating dermatologic procedures on several social media platforms.
He is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, and an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, and American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. He has also authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in nationally reconigized medical journals.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Myers enjoys being outdoors, playing pickleball, mountain biking, and spending time with his wife and four children.
Jason Evans, PA-C
Jason Evans joined Utah Valley Dermatology as a full-time Physician Assistant in the summer of 2013. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Brigham Young University and attended Physician Assistant school at Midwestern University in Glendale Arizona. He graduated with a Master’s of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies with an emphasis in Dermatology.
Jason is nationally certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He is also a fellow member of various professional organizations including the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Utah Academy of Physician Assistants, and is a Diplomate within the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. He has been a speaker at conferences for the Utah Academy of Physician Assistants instructing other Physician Assistants on common dermatology conditions.
Jason enjoys working with patients to help them understand their condition and treatment options. In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time with his young family and spending time outdoors. According to his wife, Jason has too many hobbies some of which include: running, disc golf, playing guitar, BBQing, and following BYU sports and the Utah Jazz.
Scott Leatham, NP-C
Scott received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Brigham Young University – Idaho. His work as a registered nurse included working in the areas of surgery, orthopedics, medical, and the emergency department. He went on to receive a Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Westminster College in Salt Lake City where he completed an internship in dermatology.
He has gone on to become certified as a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP). Dermatology is his passion and he enjoys treating patients of all ages.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and three children along with wakesurfing, camping, and going to concerts.
Joshua Winters, PA-C
Josh received his Bachelor of Science from Utah Valley University and attended Eastern Virginia Medical School where he received his Master of Physician Assistant and was inducted into Pi Alpha, the National Honor Society for Physician Assistants.
Josh is nationally certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He is also a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Utah Academy of Physician Assistants, and a fellow member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Josh has a passion for preventative medicine and patient education. He believes when patients are accurately informed, it empowers them to participate in their healthcare. One of his favorite quotes is, “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” by Benjamin Franklin. He is very grateful to be serving patients in dermatology. He loves the specialty because of the wide variety of medical conditions that can be diagnosed through the skin. He is very happy to be able to help individuals improve their overall health by treating dermatological conditions that can have a huge impact on their self-image. Josh pursued a career in medicine because he wants to listen, empathize, and do his best to help patients. He believes dermatology allows him to do so. He also enjoys treating patients of all age groups.
Aside from work, Josh enjoys anything outdoors. He is a native Utahn and loves spending time enjoying its beauty. Hiking, biking, tennis, paddle boarding, and barbecuing are some of his favorite things to do. But what he enjoys most, is spending time with his family.
Brian Waldron, PA-C
Brian Waldron is a southern California native who moved to Utah to pursue his degree at Brigham Young University. After graduating, he attended Physician Assistant school at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. He graduated with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies and was excited to immediately specialize in dermatology. Brian Waldron joined the Utah Valley Dermatology team in the summer of 2021. Brian is nationally certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and an active member of various professional organizations including the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Utah Academy of Physician Assistants.
Brian has a passion for dermatology. He feels that no other area of medicine allows a provider to help individuals of all age groups with their overall health and self-confidence like dermatology does. Brian loves meeting new people and is excited to serve the Utah Valley area with its dermatologic needs.
With his free time, Brian enjoys spending time with his large family, fitness, sports, and exploring the beautiful Utah outdoors.
Bryan Ellis, PA-C
Bryan was born and raised in Laie, Hawaii and moved to Layton, Utah at the age of 15. He received his Bachelor of Science in Zoology with a Minor in Psychology from Weber State University. He went on to receive his Master of Health Science from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City and was inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success upon graduation.
Bryan is nationally certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a fellow member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Utah Academy of Physician Assistants. He developed his love for dermatology prior to PA school as he realized it allows him to reach and treat more people. Not everyone has diabetes or hypertension, but everyone has skin!
Outside of work, Bryan loves playing and watching sports, exercising, listening to music, cooking, trying new foods, and above all, spending time with his family.
