What Is Restylane® and Restylane Lyft®
Restylane is a hyaluronic acid filler that provides natural results, smoothing away wrinkles and folds. Hyaluronic acid actually occurs naturally in the body, and the Restylane line acts like what the body already produces to add volume to your skin.
Why Would I Use It?
As we age, we lose some of the fullness that we once had. Restylane® is used to enhance and give volume to various facial features.
Wha Are All The Restylane Varieties?
There is a whole line of Restylane products to choose from. The Restylane line of hyaluronic acid fillers provides natural-looking results by smoothing away facial wrinkles and folds (Restylane, Restylane Lyft, Restylane Refyne, Restylane Defyne), providing subtle lip enhancement (Restylane, Restylane Silk) and smoothing the lines around the mouth (Restylane Silk), and adding lift and volume to the cheeks (Restylane Lyft).
The different options use different sizes of particles in the filler itself. The larger molecule allows for an effectively deeper fill for wrinkles, such as the nasolabial folds. Restylane®’s smaller molecule is typically used to treat more delicate lines and folds such as smoker lines and the under eyes.
How Long Does Treatment Take?
Each treatment typically lasts between 6-12 months and can occasionally last up to 18 months, which is more than twice as long as a regular collagen injection.
