Dr. David Myers is a double board-certified Dermatologist and founder of Utah Valley Dermatology and Medical Spa. He was raised in Utah County and graduated from Brigham Young University. He attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin and an internship at Waukesha Family Medicine. His dermatology residency was completed at the Marshfield Clinic in Wisconsin and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he was the chief resident during his last year. Dr. Myers received additional training in skin cancer treatment during his residency in Madison, Wisconsin, where Mohs was started. He is a fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Myers treats all aspects of dermatology, including adult and pediatric general dermatology, cosmetic, dermatopathology, and surgical dermatology. He has performed over 3000 Mohs procedures.
In 2012, he started Utah Valley Dermatology in Lehi, Utah, which has grown to include eight full-time practitioners. He also started the Utah Valley Medical Spa, which provides cosmetic treatments and skincare products.
Additionally, Dr. Myers was a dermatology lecturer and preceptor for the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center Family Medicine program from 2011- 2014 and was the Dermatologist for Brigham Young University Student Health Center from 2011-2015. Dr. Myers is also Dr. Derm on multiple social platforms. He demonstrates dermatological procedures to his 300k YouTube subscribers weekly.
Outside of the office, he loves spending time with his wife and four children traveling, fly fishing, and biking.
