Steven E Kelly, MD

Dr. Steven Kelly was driven into medicine to help others optimize their health. He believes that good health is a necessary prerequisite for individuals to have maximal enjoyment with their families, friends, work, hobbies, and other interests in life. His passion specifically for dermatology came from his appreciation of the psychological and social impact that skin conditions have, and the confidence and sense of “self” that is restored with their resolution.

A native of California, Dr. Kelly served a 2-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints before completing his undergraduate degree and attending medical school at the University of Central Florida. In medical school, he excelled academically, published numerous research articles, and was inducted into numerous national medical honor societies, including the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Societies–which recognize students who demonstrate outstanding academics, leadership qualities, and compassionate patient care. Dr. Kelly completed his residency training in Pennsylvania, where he became proficient in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. His passions in dermatology are helping people heal and recover from skin cancer, as well as removing skin cancer through Mohs surgery. Dr. Kelly has performed over 400 Mohs surgeries. He also enjoys excising cysts and lipomas, to help his patients feel more comfortable in their skin.

Dr. Steven Kelly is married and has 4 young children. He is a fitness, sports, and outdoor enthusiast and his favorite days are those in which he spends the daytime hours with family and friends boating, snowboarding, or mountain biking and the evening chatting and playing games.
