She strives to be at the forefront of academic inquiry to develop new techniques and therapies for dermatologic issues. Her research has been published in national dermatology journals and she has presented at local and national conferences. Her current research interests include the development of improved non surgical alternatives to face lifting and the use of regenerative medicine within the field of dermatology.

Outside of work, Dr. McClean enjoys spending time with her husband and their two doodles. They enjoy travel both internationally and locally and are excited to take in the natural beauty that Utah has to offer. She hopes to hike a new trail at least weekly and would love your input on which one to try next! In the winter you will find her hitting the slopes to ski on the “best snow on earth”. Dr. McClean and her husband also enjoy restaurant tourism and experiencing new cuisines, as well as taking in local music, arts, and theater.
